Name of Event: Hike Peilstein

Description : W1  (see chart on General Announcement page)
Leisurely family walk with possibility to boulder on Peilstein walls.
Suggested By: Monika and Tim 

Starting Point: Maria Reisenmarkt, at 9:45 am Bus Station.

Ending Point: Same 

Elevation Change, length of walk in hours/kilometers: Peilstein Haus 718 meters, 380 meters at Raisenmarkt, total length about 4 kilometers and back.   

Estimated Time Required: 2.5 hours plus a visit to a little cave, castle ruins and lunch at Peilsteinhaus (+boldering).  

Car Connections: From A21, Motorway Exit Mayerling 

Train Connections: S1 Bahn from Fl. Drf 8:04, Wien Nord 8:13, Wien Mitte 8:17, W Meidling 8:30, 
arriving in Moedling at 8:46.  
Then B Bus 365 to Alland leaves at 8:52 and arrives in M Raisenmarkt at 9:37.

The Return bus leaves MR at 4:40 and arrives in Moedling at 17:29.

Equipment Needed: Good walking shoes, backpack, snacks and 1l of water for each person. We will only use marked paths, no climbing involved.
