Description:  bike tour, 37 km,  easy, but there are some steep parts

Description details: Neusiedl – Breitenbrunn, the Kirschblütenradweg (B12) starts from Breitenbrunn/ Neusiedler See, passing along a Kellergasse (wine cellars) and then through vineyards to Purbach, which is a nice, old little village. Then through vineyards again to Donnerskirchen – on this part there are most of the cherry trees. From Donnerskirchen back to Breitenbrunn on the B10 bike track, and back to Neusiedl

Meeting time: 10.00 a.m.

Starting and Ending Point: Neusiedl train station

Ending Time: ?? about 3 or 4 pm  depending very much on our speed and on how much time we will use for a Heurigen visit

Car connections: A4 to Neusiedl

Train connections: 9.22 Wien Südbahnhof to Neusiedl arrival 10.00 (limited bike transport possible (better reserve first with ÖBB)

There is also a possibility to rent bikes at the Bahnhof Neusiedl, at a company called "Bucsis" (the ÖBB does not do it any longer themselves there). I talked to them, if only a few bikes are required then there is no need to reserve. Anyway telephone numbers are 02167/5117 or 0664-160 88 00. Bikes can be rented out from 8.00 a.m. to midday and can be returned from 4.00 p.m. onwards again. Costs Euro 11,-- for those who have a train ticket, Euro 13,-- for those who travel by car.

Equipment needed:
bike, rain jacket, drink, maybe something to eat if you want - although there will be possibilites to get something to eat on the way.
