Starting/Meeting Point: Forsthaus Stopfenreuth

Meeting Time 9:45 AM
We will rent and organize the canoes, moving them into the water about 10:00, where a guide will accompany us in the first boat.  We should be back at Forsthaus by 13:00 and have lunch.   There are various possibilities to go on after lunch, including walking, renting a bike, visit to Carnuntum.

Price 280 to 350 ATS per person 
(depends on the number of people) including Canoes Rental, Guide for the morning, and Lunch (1 of 3 menus is roasted pig), but no drinks are included.

Car Connections: Vienna east to Bad Deutsch Altenburg - left "River Danube Bridge".  Appx. 1 km -- left small road to "Stopfenreuth" in the village there are signs to "Forsthaus".   You will need approx. one hour from Vienna to Stopfenreuth by car -- the only possibility to reach that point.  UNLESS you want to bike 33 km along the Danube river, which is also quite nice.

Equipment Needed: Lifejackets available (water will be 1 to 1.2 meeters deep), Mosquito repellent, sun lotion, hats, old clothes, small snack or drink.

DO NOT TAKE VALUABLES IN THE CANOE WITH YOU!!!
