This is the central
website of all the Viennese
Austrian Alpine Federation's chapters. The three largest
in Vienna are Section Austria, Gebirgsverein
and Edelweiss. Our club is a group within
Section Austria, and our leadership writes
a small article in their monthly magazine.

contains a wealth of information aimed at ex-pats
living in Vienna. You can read about whats happening
in Vienna, where to get information or help, and many
more useful tidbits for the newly arrived English
speaking person. There is also a Forum with a rather
large community of posters. A good place to go with
any questions related to living in Austria.

The purpose of the Austro
American Society is the promotion and the strengthening of the
cultural and economic relations between Austria and the United States of
America. There are expert hearings and panel discussions with Austrian and
international authorities from the media, business and politics on an
regular basis. They have been supportive of us, and we announce their
events to our membership as well. Many of our members have given
presentations and some of our membership are also members of the Austrian
American Society. This site is in English and German.
