Registration until :

Type of event :
Klettersteig (Via Ferrata)
Organized by :
Mateusz Zoltak
Description :

The aim is simple - do an anusual medium-difficulty ferrata and get back to Vienna before 3PM.

These conditions are perfectly met by the Wildenauersteig (topo):

  • It isn't  difficult - the topo says its C/D but I would say its C (until you are very short) and it's of moderate length (~1h on the ferrata).
  • It's unusual - we'll pass a chimney (covered from all sides!) and attach our carabiners to the steel steps instead of the steel rope (it's safe, no need to worry).
This ferrata's really different from the others.
  • It's on Hohe Wand, so it can be reached quickly.

If you have no ferrata experience it's not the best one to start with but if you fulfill T3 requirements (see below), you can try it out.

If you have some experience with ferratas graded at least C, you shouldn't have any problems with it.

Participants limit is 4 excluding me (may be adjusted a little depending on our level). First registered, first served.

Please indicate your advancement level in the notes field of the registration form.
