4 day Paklenica National Park, Croatia - checking if there is interest on 25 May 2017

This is to see if there is any interest in a long weekend trip to the Paklenica National Park in Croatia.

Thurs 25th May is a national holiday in Austria, so it is the perfect long weekend.

It is a long (about 7-8hr) drive down. Probably we would drive down on the Thursday. Friday to Saturday we would do a two day hike with a stay in a lovely hut in the national park, then return on the Sunday.  May be possible to drive down a day earlier, or return a day later.

The weekend will be similar to this trip from 2012 (Here are the photos!)

If you are interested, please sign up by 14th 31st March.  It is currently not a binding registration - just an indication of interest, and the trip will only take place if there is enough interest, and accommodation is available. Those who have indicated their interest will be allowed to register first.

For the binding registration, a non-returnable deposit of around €50 will be charged.

Maximum no of participants: 12 (3 cars!)

Only realistic by car.  Drivers of own cars or rental cars will be needed.  If this cannot be organized the trip will not be possible.

Please write in if you require transport, can offer transport or if you are prepared to organize a car rental (costs will be shared amongst all participants not travelling in their own car)

There may be an option to travel by plane to Zadar and Taxi. Cost currently <€200/person for transport with this option.
