North Dachstein ferratas on 24 September 2022

A year without a Dachstein trip would be a lost year ;) and there are still ferratas in Dachstein I haven't done.

The plan goes as follows:

• Start from Vienna early on Saturday and drive to Obertraun (~3h)
• Do the Seewand Klettersteig (D/E, 750m up on ferrata, 1300 m total elevation gain, ~6h)
• Sleep on Gjaid Alm (1st day map).
• On Sunday go on Krippenstein (1.5h or a cable car - map)
• Do the Gams or Nordwand ferrata (C or E, 200m down and back up, ~2h)
• Take the cable car down
• Walk down to Obertraun, eat something and take the final walk back to the car (1.5h plus eating time - map)
• Drive back to Vienna (~3h).

As it's rather ambitious trip:

• I must know you from other events and be sure you can do a long, high-mountain ferrata with a D/E section.
• The even will take place only if the weather is good (a backup plan, would be to do the loop like that which is definitely not as entartaining but doesn't require rock-solid weather).
