2 day hike in Biele Karpaty, Slovak-Czech border on 12 November 2016

This hike will take you to the lesser known area of Biele Karpaty (White Carpathians), roughly in the area between Dubnica nad Vahom and Puchov. We will hike in the forests at Czech-Slovak border, sleep in a hotel under the rocks of Vrsatec, visit 2 picturesque clastle ruins (Vrsatec, Lednica) and pass some nice villages. Drinks/food options on the way, but bring some snacks and something warm to drink with you. This hike is possible also in rainy weather, bring rain proofs. Mostly trails in woods, but also rocky areas and forest roads.

Deposit of 20 euro (to cover accomodation booking and group train tickets) will be charged upon registration

way there:

6.16 REX to Bratislava hlavna stanica, there we change to express train to Dubnica nad Vahom, and a bus that will take us to the start of the hike, arriving at 10.30

a night at  hotel in Vrsatske Podhradie (cca 15-20 euro/person), with dining and breakfast option

return to Vienna on Sunday evening, taking train from Puchov and changing to Vienna train in Bratislava
