Description :

Hochstuhl (Stol in Slovenian) is the highest mountain of the 120 km long Karawanke range and straddles the border between Slovenia and Austria.
The summit offers a broad panorama view of Gorski Kotar (Dinaric Alps), Julian Alps, Hohe Tauern, Gurktal Alps and north Dachstein. More close to us are numerous summits of Karavanks, the most picturesque is the view on Košuta range.

The event is 2+ days - the departure from Vienna is on Friday afternoon. The overnight stay is at Klagenfurter hut.
Next day (Saturday) we will approach the summit from the Klagenfurter hut, via feratta part with difficulty B/C.

On Saturday night the plan ist have one more overnight stay at Turnersee and return to Vienna is on Sunday.

Technical requirements :

T2, Rough areas, broken rocks and boulder fields are not a problem for me. I am sure-footed and free of dizziness
