Description :

Weekend hike with stay overnight at hut (Karl-Ludwig-Haus 1804m).

At beginning and end of hike we take the Raxalpenbahn (cable car), so we start at 1.546m altitude.

Scenic hikes at both days at a moderate pace across different ridges north and south of Neue Seehütte:
Saturday: Klobentörl - Trinksteinsattel - Karl-Ludwig Haus
Sunday: Trinksteinsattel - Neue Seehütte - Preiner Wand - Jakobskogel - Ottohaus

Ascend to Rax summit Heukuppe (2009m) in the evening and/or morning, leaving the backpacks at Karl-Ludwig-Haus.

Meeting time: 9:00 am at Raxseilbahn valley station.
Ending time: appr. 4:00 pm next day at valley station.
Social drink thereafter if we like. (There are nice places to go nearby)

Technical requirements :

T2, Rough areas, broken rocks and boulder fields are not a problem for me. I am sure-footed and free of dizziness
