Edit 18.1.2018: I had to confirm the rooms today, so have booked just one room for 4 people. Therefore max participants is now 4 people, and cost per night is €50. Waiting list places are available.
This year's snowshoe and sauna weekend will take us to the Pack region on the Styrian/Carinthian border.
I have provisionally booked a 4-bed and a 6-bed room in the Moasterhaus. It is a bit of a skiing area, but with a short drive to the Hirschegg Saddle, there are some snowshoe possibilities from there (Speikkogel, Weißenstein for one day and Rappoldkogel, Schwarzkogel for the other day). The exact tours will be decided later, depending on weather and snow conditions.
Note that after registration, a non-returnable deposit of €50 will be payable. Details will be sent by email. The registration is only fixed once the deposit has been received. The total price of the rooms for 10 persons is around €430 and this will be divided by the number of participants. As the booking is only provisional, there may be changes to these arrangements, so I recommend registering ASAP, so I can confirm the rooms.
If there is interest, we could check if there is a possibility to arrive on the Friday afternoon (although I have no info if this is possible and if so, the price). If you are interested in travelling on the friday, please mention this in the notes during registration.
Note: This will be a strenuous hike, for which good fitness is necessary. All registrations are subject to the approval of the trip organiser.
