Basic Education on Rock and Ice on 16 June 2018

Course taught in English language!

Two days in Dachstein´s mountainous region! There we find perfect terrain to train your skills on both rock and ice. You will learn the basics of mountaineering: hiking in high-mountain regions, walking on glaciers, climbing via ferrata, navigation, and much more. We meet on saturday morning at the bottom station of the Dachstein Südwand cable car and cross glaciers and climb rocks to reach Adamek-Hütte (2.196m) where we spend the rest of the day and the next one practicing our skills and enjoying the time high up in the mountains, before we return back to the cable car.
