Dear Members,
First I think we all should congratulate ourselves, since we have existed as a group for one year!
What we offer is unique. Due to a special mix of people who want to share the experience and love of the outdoors, our “Friends inviting Friends” attitude has allowed us to do many things. Most importantly, we have accomplished what we had set out to do. To provide an English Speaking group where Austrians and Non-Natives can become active and share what we each have to offer
Our event planning committee is active and able. Bringing this group into reality was the work, and still is the work of volunteers. The web page, meetings and organization of events are all done with love of the outdoors as the basis. Review this list and think back to where you have been in the last year (First meeting Sept. 9th):
As you were reading through this list, did you regret not making one of the events? Did you remember an event that could have been better? Did you think of something that would be nice to do, but was not offered? Did you like how the hikes are organized or do you have constructive suggestions for improvement? We just need one thing, you!
Your ideas and comments are important, and I hope that you will take the time to write back to me with what you felt as you read through the last years events. To help you to do this, I have attached a card that I would ask you to fill out and return to me.
Have you ever thought to invite some friends along? If you want to be more active in our group, please volunteer by checking the box on the form.
Finally, I personally want to thank each and every one of us who has helped make this group a success that it is.
